In Mesa, we have a preK-12 College, Career, and Community Readiness Framework. The college and career readiness framework delineates competencies and success criteria across grade-level bands, offering students opportunities to acquire valuable and authentic skills essential for college and career readiness. This framework emphasizes the significance of exposing students to career awareness, exploration, preparation, and training, as outlined in the table below. Throughout their educational journey at MPS, students will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for success beyond high school. This achievement is not incidental but intentional, requiring deliberate instructional design utilizing these competencies.
Starting in Fall 2024, Naviance will be utilized to deliver supporting experiences for the College, Career, and Community readiness planning.
