College, Career, and Community Readiness Framework

Education & Career Action Plan (ECAP)

In Mesa, we have a K-12 College, Career, and Community Readiness Framework. The college and career readiness framework delineates competencies and success criteria across grade-level bands, offering students opportunities to acquire valuable and authentic skills essential for college and career readiness. This framework emphasizes the significance of exposing students to career awareness, exploration, preparation, and training, as outlined in the table below. Throughout their educational journey at MPS, students will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for success beyond high school. This achievement is not incidental but intentional, requiring deliberate instructional design utilizing these competencies.

Starting in Fall 2024, Naviance will be utilized to deliver supporting experiences for the College, Career, and Community readiness planning.

AzCIS Update

AzCIS has upgraded to its 360 version and has a new login page. Mesa is currently in a transition year, and will not be moving to AZCIS 360 at this time. To access the familiar AZCIS platform, both you and your students should navigate to the AZCIS Enterprise platform. This will ensure a seamless continuation of our Education and Career Action Plans. The steps are the same for adults and students. After logging in, select 1. your name in the menu in the upper right hand corner, then select 2. Go To Enterprise. See the image below.
