A high school diploma no longer guarantees economic independence in today's economy. Students need robust academic knowledge, plus technical competencies, plus employability skills to become competitive in the current and future workforce. The Graduation Plus program will give all MPS students the opportunity to not only graduate high school with a diploma, but also build a portfolio of work that ensures they are truly college, career and community ready.

Students can build their own diploma with the wealth of opportunities that MPS offers. These "pluses" fall into five categories; industry recognized certifications, work based learning experiences, earned college credit, advanced diploma designations and a college and career action plan.
