Girls on the Run is for every girl grades 3-8. It will be held on Tuesdays and Thrusdays at Redbird Elementary beginning at 2:45. For more information email Linsey Poirier at lcpoirier@mpsaz.org.
Twice per week for 10 weeks, girls will have fun, make friends, increase their physical activity levels and learn important life skills. Trained and caring coaches lead the girls through interactive lessons and movement activities. The season ends with a celebratory 5k event on April 20, 2024 at Wesley Bolin Plaza!

The City of Mesa’s Move Safe Public Service Announcement Contest is back again this year!
The contest asks students, ages 12-18, to create a short 30-second video that promotes moving safely in the community. Students can work in teams or individually, with family or classmates. The grand prize winner receives a new bicycle provided by the City of Mesa’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Program, the PSA shown in select Harkins theaters and on select Cox Communications channels, and prize packages from contest partners. Deadline to submit entries is January 31, 2024.

MVC Picture Day is coming! Students may come to campus on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 between 12:00-2:00 pm to have their school picture taken. Parents/Guardians can preorder pictures online at campos.preorderphotos.com and use the Access Code: N93PW7.

Mesa Virtual Campus new location and summer office hours have changed:
New address is 1313 W Medina Ave, #A3, Mesa AZ 85202. Office reopens on Tuesday, June 6 at 7:30am-4:00pm. Summer office hours from June 6-July 13 are Monday-Thursday, 7:30-4:00. Normal office hours will resume July 13 from 7:30-3:30, Monday-Friday.
You are invited to the MVC Music Spring Showcase 2023! Wednesday, May 3 at 6:00 pm, join Dr. Norman as she shows off the Mesa Virtual K-8 students musical talents. This event will include a Virtual Spring Sing, student recorder performances, QCreatives Backtracks, Foley Sound Effects projects, as well as sound and resonance projects. Spring Break is March 13-17, 2023. There will be no classes for students those days. The MVC office will have limited services and hours. You may call before coming this way.

AZ Diamond Backs Attendance Matters challenge. Have perfect attendance the entire month of February and your student will receive a ticket for a Dbacks game between April and July 2023!
The February 1, 2023 Virtual Coffee with the Principal has been postponed until a future date to be determined.
Mesa Virtual Campus office will be closed at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, for an all-staff training.
Due to Parent-Teacher Conferences, on Wednesday, January 11, through Friday, January 13, classes will end at 12:45 for kindergarten -6th grade students.
Registration for the 2023-2024 school year begins January 23, 2023. If you would like to enroll your student to be at Mesa Virtual Campus next school year, please go to mpsaz.org/enroll and follow the directions to register and select your choice school.
